Built to make local hiring visible again
Zenspo is a local job marketplace and proving ground where businesses can find local help, evaluate proof of work, and hire with more confidence.
What began as a focus on helping businesses grow through social media revealed a larger problem. Businesses do not just want talent. They want people they can trust, people they can see, and a hiring flow that does not feel complicated.
In a market crowded with noise, distance, and questionable profiles, Zenspo is built differently. Businesses can post local jobs or paid trial tasks, discover nearby professionals, and use real work as the proving ground before making bigger commitments.
Why local profiles feel different on Zenspo
Remote marketplaces can look polished while still feeling uncertain. Zenspo is designed to make trust more visible through local context, local vouches, and proof of real work.

Local first
Zenspo is built for businesses and professionals who benefit from real-world coordination, visibility, and trust close to home.
A proving ground before bigger commitments
Businesses can use paid trial tasks to evaluate proof of work before they decide to hire more deeply.
Simple by design
The flow is intentionally straightforward: create, wait, hire, repeat.
Built from seeing wasted potential on both sides
Zenspo was shaped by the gap between talented local people who needed a shot and businesses that needed trustworthy local help.

Michele Maxwell
CEO, Zenspo
Building a more visible and practical hiring engine for local businesses and local talent.
Michele Maxwell, CEO of Zenspo, saw the same tension from two directions. Around Santa Fe College and the University of Florida, she saw students and young professionals with real potential but too few places to prove themselves. At the same time, she saw businesses struggling to find skilled local professionals they could actually trust and see.
While studying for her MS in Business Analytics at the University of Florida, Michele decided to build the platform herself. Her vision for Zenspo is to give small towns and local communities a stronger hiring engine, one where businesses can move faster and local talent gets a real opportunity to be visible.
Backed early by the UF Luby Microgrant
Zenspo received a $2.5K UF Luby Microgrant and is seeing early interest from industries including insurance, real estate, and automotive.
A proving ground for local work
For small and midsized businesses, committing too early can feel risky. Zenspo helps close that gap.
